Interesting, but does it hit the point? One fact to note is that none of us actually understand or can even pretend to understand what goes on in 'fight'. There are very few who have spent time trying to fatham what fight is. Yes, the intent is known, we fight to survive or out do an opponent but do we really know why? Why FIGHT?

Our group has just launched and aims to teach a concept, through already recognised martial arts systems. The concept is COMBAT DANCE - a way to train safely and progressively, improving not only basic stances, kicks and punches but also engagement. This is lacking in most, if not all martial arts, where trained practitioners step into an arena to fight and merely end up brawling. To keep the 'art' in the 'martial', combat dance is worth investigating as a training system. For black belts or complete beginners, this will enhance the ability of all who commit to it. check it out and if you still believe that dancing and fighting are different, get in touch.

just picked your blog up via wishiknew.com and wanted to say, "nice job pointing out the obvious" on this post. Too bad that kind of directness is a liability in the press today, unless you're Matt Taibi. Keep it turning and I'll keep reading. Thanks.

Can we repost?

I'm also a coffee snob. I dislike French coffee less than I hate that they only serve demi-ecreme or 2% milk, which I always thought was reserved for obese Americans giving them an excuse to add extra sugar. I like my lattes strong enough to break through the rich taste of whole milk, not a watery mess like the French serve almost 100% of the time.

I agree Malongo is pretty good. Sadly, I often end up at Starbucks, just because you can get good milk. If you double the number of shots, their coffee is almost okay.

I understand that 90% of donations to the American Red Cross go towards administrative fees. This is an outrage. I would not use them ever again. This should be illegal to use fund for wealthbuilding.n Unfortunately The American Red Cross is well known and people suspect they can be trusted with their money.

This is an interesting combo for sure. I'm really looking forward to see if the coaches themselves can work together as a team or not. Intersting times ahead.

I have installed Chrome OS on one of my netbooks and the performance of Chrome OS is just okay. there is nothing fancy or very special about it. It was just a sort of GUI version of linux or something.
                                                .
